An easy launching sand wedge built for golfers who want the ball up and out
Best For: Higher handicap and senior golfers who want more height and forgiveness out of the sand and around the greens.
The Launch Pad 2 sand wedge is designed around one idea, and that is getting the ball airborne without needing a lot of speed. The wider sole glides through sand and soft turf rather than digging, so you get cleaner contact even when the strike is not perfect. That makes a big difference for golfers who have battled with heavy bunker shots or thin chips.
The lightweight graphite A flex shaft is a big part of why this club works so well for slower swing speeds. It helps you generate speed with less effort and encourages a smoother, more relaxed swing through the ball. Paired with the higher launching head design, it is a genuinely easier club to hit than a traditional wedge.
It also matches up nicely if you already play Launch Pad 2 irons, but it works just as well as a standalone addition if your current sand wedge is the club you least want to pull out of the bag.
Good to Know: Right handed only, fitted with a graphite A flex shaft. Stock is limited. If you are not sure whether A flex is right for you, come and see us in store at Mount Maunganui and we will check your speed and make sure you are in the right club.
