Wingback Confidence With a Natural Release
Best For: Golfers with a natural arc who want strong mallet stability and controlled toe flow.
The Scotty Cameron 2026 Phantom 7.2 Putter looks every inch the modern wingback mallet, but it does not ask you to change the way you naturally move the putter. Its plumbing neck introduces medium toe flow, giving an arcing stroke room to open and release smoothly.
Long angular wings create a clear frame around the ball and add stability through impact. The full-face Studio Carbon Steel insert brings a softer sound and responsive feel, helping the putter remain polished rather than overly mechanical.
For golfers who want alignment help and forgiveness but still enjoy some flow through the stroke, the Phantom 7.2 sits in a very useful middle ground.
Studio Carbon Steel Face Insert – Delivers soft sound and responsive feedback across the face
Wingback Mallet Shape – Adds forgiveness and makes setting up square feel straightforward
Plumbing Neck – Provides medium toe flow for a balanced, naturally arcing stroke
